TL;DR

Pervenche is a concept that was created in 2 weeks for a school workshop. The goal was to discover Arduino, 3D printing and laser cutting. With Pauline Jouitteau we created this speed camera that measure the speed of students in the corridor using an ultrasonic range finder and print a fine if you are above the speed limit.

Conception

Pervenche is a concept that was born after a 2 weeks workshop. The goal was to create bonds between the new students of the master that came from different Bachelors degree. I worked with Pauline Jouitteau who got a Bachelors degree with a major in Product Design. The pitch was to discover Arduino, and prototyping tools such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

The first step was to find out which sensor we were going to work with. After exchanging with other students we decided to focus on something that could be funny in the corridor since nobody wanted to use this area The idea of a speed camera came out of our mind quickly but how could we make it with just what we got.
